Co Founder and Owner

Martman has been in some form of skate for 50 years. Starting in hockey at a young age, and transferring to figure skating in his early 20’s, and then into wheels in his late 40’s, he appreciates all types of skating.

He achieved his Gold ice dance badge from Skate Canada, and has competed in synchronized skating nationally and internationally. He has taught CanSkate and CanFigureskate for Skate Canada as well as figure skating for Special Olympics Victoria, and is currently a Level 1 Certified Skating Instructor for Skate IA.

Martman is inspired by his “partner in all things skating”, Skaterboyes, and the OGs down in Venice Beach CA. His goal is to have roller skating be back in the main stream and to have it recognized as the performance art that it is.
