Saturday Open Skate

Every Saturday Night at Pearkes Rec Centre from 7-9PM. $12 entry, $6 rentals. Starts September 16th and runs through to Spring of 2024.

Even before COVID hit the United States and roller derby was canceled for 2020, I was looking for something that involved roller skating and fitness. There was nothing offered in my local area. When I found the Roller Skate Victoria Online Roller Dance Academy and learned they offered classes via Zoom, I was super excited and joined right away.

I started taking Roller Dance Aerobics with Andrea, which is a great workout and fun. I also wanted to learn more of the dance moves so I took a few extra Roller Dance classes with Andrea and Marty, and some private lessons from Andrea for one-on-one attention. Andrea and Marty are knowledgeable instructors and their enthusiasm for skating makes it so much fun. Finding Roller Skate Victoria Online Dance Academy during a pandemic/quarantine saved 2020 for me.
